ZAKYNTHOS,PROUD OF ITS BEACHES.

Zakynthos island,in Ionian Sea,western Greece is proud of its beaches. Alykes and Alykanas are joined by a long sandy beach (about 3 km away),these beaches are north-east of the island.The famous Blue Caves and Shipwreck are accessible from these areas. 

Alykes is a small, friendly place with a great variety of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, most of which are in the main street. It is a popular place for families and couples, many visitors come every year, thanks to its good climate, gorgeous beaches and verdant mountains.
