PINDOS RANGE ,THE BROWN BEAR NATURAL REFUGE

Pindos mountain range is the largest in Greece. Ιt dominates almost throughout western Greece and essentially follows the Illyrian and Dalmatian mountain ranges .

Pindos is a rare habitat for Greek and European animal species such as the brown bear, wolves and otters. There are two national parks: the Pindos National Park of Valia Kalda and the Vikos-Aoos national Park.

As you can watch at the video,Pindos range is also a valuable place for wildflowers and mountain flora in general .
