The most popular celebrations take place in Tinos and Paros .
This two islands have majestic churches built to accommodate miraculous icons,as it is believed by Orthodox Christians ,all over the world.
Pilgrims from eastern Europe,especially Russia ,Near and Middle East visit this day Tinos' church and Ekatondapyliani in Paros ,admire their history ,participate in praise.Then they walk along the streets nearby that are transformed in a unique traditional feast ,including an open air market.
