DIRFYS MOUNTAIN - EVIA

 The Dirfys  Mount,commonly Dirfi, is important mountains of Central Evia height of the larger peak, 1,743 meters. Excluding the mountains of Crete is the tallest mountain in the islands. It has high relief and is quite sharp, especially on the eastern side of the extension of which is Ochthonia. 

The western side has a conical shape. The Dirfi also shows the heavy snowfall during the first winter because they are exposed to the cold northeastern streams.
The flora and fauna of Dirfis is rich enough and at high altitudes can encounter great fir forests at lower elevations while chestnuts, oaks, pines and various deciduous.
