TSIKOUDIA CELEBRATIONS IN CRETE

     Every October in Crete,after harvest, and the traditional grapes pressing, the wort production and the preparation of the new wine, it's  tsikoudia's time! 

The local drink called tsikoudia or raki is world famous and the last years very popular to young people that love to taste new flavors.In every area of the island are organized traditional happenings and celebrations.
